Our Registered Nurses perform routine Indwelling Urinary Catheter (IDC) changes using strict aseptic technique and current evidence-based clinical guidelines.

During every visit we:

  • Safely replace your catheter

  • Replace drainage bags or catheter valves (if required)

  • Assess urine output and colour

  • Monitor for signs of urinary tract infection

  • Check for catheter blockage or leakage

  • Assess skin integrity around the catheter
